This sunscreen rubs in easily, doesn't make my skin feel greasy or oily and gives a very subtle (practically unnoticeable) tint. If you want more tint in your sunscreen coverage you may want to try a different product.

I got this because I have been on the hunt for a perfect tinted sunscreen for years, with many expensive and disappointing products along the way. This is perfect, excellent price for the amount of quality product you get, does not make me break out OR BURN/IRRITATE my skin. No weird fruity/floral or sunblock lotion smell. Not too dark for my fair skin!
I really like this tinted sunscreen. I love that it's water-resistant. The only thing I don't care for is the consistency of the product-it's thicker than some of EltaMD's other sunscreens which makes it seem like it takes more product to cover your whole face/neck. Overall, I would purchase this product again. I have acne-prone skin, and this product did not break me out. Most tinted sunscreens are too dark for my pale skin, but this one is great!

Too Drying
I've tried this twice now (months apart, for a few days each) but both times it was just too drying for me. I have combo acne-prone dehydrated skin (using tretinoin) and this just doesn't cut it, even over layers of moisturizer. My skin was visibly cracking. Also, the tint transfers easily. I'd still recommend it for someone with oily skin looking for a sheer tint.

Gray tint & drying
I wanted to love this one so badly!! I still think that this is a great value for the price, and I am confident that the UVA protection is high for a mineral sunscreen. However, this one is fairly drying for me; same with the UV Clear. For this product, I suspect it is due to the mineral filters. This one is also suggested for oily skin over the other EltaMD sunscreens. I have combination skin and found that everywhere except for my oily nose felt tight. Since I have constantly been putting on and removing my mask at work, the dryness is even more uncomfortable. Also, be wary of the tint. I consider myself light to light-medium, and this sunscreen did make me look more gray/ashy. I was able to get away with the mismatch since no one I asked could tell the difference if I blended well enough. The product has a firm mousse-like texture that does take a small amount of rubbing to blend in. It does not sink in as quickly as the UV Clear, which is more serum-like to a soft mousse texture. I find that blending is easier on well-moisturized skin. The product collects a little around dry/flaky areas. I can also report that this sunscreen did make my skin feel like it was burning when I experienced minor dermatitis due to another product. Since this is meant for post-procedure skin, make sure to do a patch test before applying to the rest of the affected skin.

Favorite sunscreen
I love this sunscreen. I have very oily skin, and I have tried countless sunscreens for oily skin through the years, and this is the best. Normally, sunscreens for oily skin dry my skin out so much that my face has dry lines all over it. I did not have that problem with this sunscreen. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It does not dry out my skin nor does it cause a breakout. I will definitely buy this again.

Dries my skin out
I'm sad I haven't had luck with Elta MD. But the 2 or 3 sunscreens I've tried had dried me right out. The tinted version is perfect for my skin tone, love the texture. Feels like it offers really good protection but...isn't worth it if it's destroying my skin...especially when you put so much work into it to not have that happen! :( Seems like it works for other people so...Maybe if you have oil skin this could work!

Great Sunscreen, Tint Way Too Light For Me
I really wanted to like this sunscreen! So much product (3oz!) and such a hydrating sensation when applying it, but the whitecast for this is pretty noticeable when using this by itself instead of as a base for other makeup products (which it works well with, I had no pilling with other products when using this). I'm a fitzpatrick phototype IV in case anyone was thinking of purchasing this. I didn't experience any stinging around the eyes when used either!

I'm extremely acne prone so I bought this hoping it wouldn't break me out since it is for extremely sensitive skin. After a couple weeks of use I can't say it has been the reason I'm breaking out since I've already been having bad cystic acne for months now but it could be contributing to my acne. I'm not going to discontinue use because I highly doubt it's causing me to breakout but I have a little fear it may be. It goes on easily and the tint gives me a little coverage over my acne which I like since I don't wear makeup.
