Dries my skin out
I'm sad I haven't had luck with Elta MD. But the 2 or 3 sunscreens I've tried had dried me right out. The tinted version is perfect for my skin tone, love the texture. Feels like it offers really good protection but...isn't worth it if it's destroying my skin...especially when you put so much work into it to not have that happen! :( Seems like it works for other people so...Maybe if you have oil skin this could work!

Great Sunscreen, Tint Way Too Light For Me
I really wanted to like this sunscreen! So much product (3oz!) and such a hydrating sensation when applying it, but the whitecast for this is pretty noticeable when using this by itself instead of as a base for other makeup products (which it works well with, I had no pilling with other products when using this). I'm a fitzpatrick phototype IV in case anyone was thinking of purchasing this. I didn't experience any stinging around the eyes when used either!

I'm extremely acne prone so I bought this hoping it wouldn't break me out since it is for extremely sensitive skin. After a couple weeks of use I can't say it has been the reason I'm breaking out since I've already been having bad cystic acne for months now but it could be contributing to my acne. I'm not going to discontinue use because I highly doubt it's causing me to breakout but I have a little fear it may be. It goes on easily and the tint gives me a little coverage over my acne which I like since I don't wear makeup.

My ALL time favorite sunscreen
I originally received a sample packet of the EltaMD Sunscreen and decided to give it a try. I was a little hesitant at first, as I have extremely oily skin, and thought this sunscreen would add to the oil. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! EltaMD Sunscreen did not add any extra oil to my skin and was actually a wonderful primer! The day after I used the sample packet, I went out and purchased the full sized EltaMD Sunscreen. Hands down my favorite tinted SPF face cream
I love this face cream! I went through about 3 tubes of this. So before I start with the formula of this product I just want to say I have dry skin, sometimes combination in my t-zone but it's mostly dry (including summer times). This cream is matte and oil-free so it won't hydrate you so much with this worn alone. What I do , is I put sea buckthorn oil & CBD oil on my face first with a vitamin C serum to hydrate my skin, then I put this over it! If worn alone, this cream will not make your skin feel so hydrated so put a hydrating facial oil underneath this. It's a beautiful tint when worn without makeup. I love it for no makeup days, and it works well as a primer too! Hands down best tinted SPF face cream and it's a clean product and cruelty free which is a bonus! I've tried the skinmedica tinted face cream and it's nice but I like this better at making my skin look more smooth and make my pores unnoticeable. I also tried the la roche posay tinted face SPF 50 cream and it's too watered down, for those interested in more of an oil based face SPF cream and don't care to put on oils underneath the la roche P will work.

Thick texture, reassuring, but the tint can rub off on clothes
This sunscreen checks off most of the boxes. It's purely physical and contains antioxidants. Haven't had a chance to thoroughly test it since most of us have been staying indoors, but I notice it is considerably thicker than other sunscreens and the tint can easily rub off on clothing, so be careful. I wish there is a non-tint version of this sunscreen.

Hands down best sunscreen
I've used this sunscreen for a while now, and although I have received samples of other sunscreens and tried many different kinds, I have always come back to this one! It applies well, isn't too thick, doesn't leave a white cast, and doesn't leave my oily skin feeling even more oily. It feels like velvet once it settles in to my skin.

This is the best sunscreen out there. I have SUPER sensitive, dry and acne-prone skin. I break out from almost every new product, but this one hasn't given me any trouble in over 2 years of use! The tint also makes red spots less visible - I highly recommend.
