Very drying and PATCHY
I bought this wanting a simple tinted mineral sunscreen that applied elegantly. The first time I applied, I used it as I normally apply sunscreen. (After cleansing, on dry skin, using sunscreen as a moisturizer) I was very very drying and made any dryness around my chin look flaky and patchy. I tried it over a moisturizer and it was better, but in a matter of hours... more flakiness! Also, the tint was way too light and any pigment disappeared upon application so I looked ghostly as if the product was untinted. I returned this product and am going back to a drugstore favorite: Coppertone Pure and Simple Mineral Sunscreen.

Not for dry skin.
If you have flaky, dry skin then this product is not for you. I'm on accutane and am constantly flushed so I was hoping that the tint would at least smooth out the redness a bit. This has minimal coverage and I can't build up the product due to my skin pilling off. I'm hoping that this product will be helful once I am done with treatment but right now this product doesn't work for me.

Gentle on Sensitive, Rosacea-Prone Skin
I've been using this sunscreen daily for several years and love it. It has never caused a reaction on my "reacts to everything" skin, even around the eyes. It has a lightweight cream texture that's very pleasant on the skin. It's also less greasy than many mineral sunscreens. The tint is a bit darker than my (very pale) skin tone, but I typically combine this sunscreen with Elta MD UV Pure untinted sunscreen, which allows me to get a closer match in color. Excellent product!

My favorite sunscreen
I absolutely love Elta MD UV Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 which has become my favorite sunscreen and the only one I buy. First, ingredients of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide with UVA/UVB protection is extremely important. Second, it's extremely light weight and the only sunscreen I've ever used that doesn't have a greasy feel. It wears beautifully under makeup. Third, I love that it comes tinted so it's gives you such a smooth fresh look if wearing on a straight make-up free face. With all these perks and at such an affordable price, this product is a winner!

I'm white & this is too light for face.
LOVE this product- never greasy but moisturizing enough to stand up to the harsh dry Colorado sun. I have acne prone combination skin and am very active so having a sunscreen I can hike/climb/bike/run in without it melting off AND without causing me breakouts is very hard to find- this is amazing because it's as if I'm wearing protective makeup that I can blindly reapply through the day. My only complaint is the tonal range of this line. 1 COLOR! REALLY GUYS! I'm white and this is way too light for my skin. Also would love more sustainable packaging always.

My Go-To Daily Sunscreen
I developed a Vitamin E allergy a while ago, so I had to toss all of my skincare products out and look for replacements that wouldn't break me out or give me an allergic reaction. I'm so happy that Elta MD has this one in their collection, and that it's mineral based as well! This doesn't make me break out (I break out easily) and it's slightly tinted to ease the whiteness of the white cast from the zinc content. I'm olive skinned so it still looks a bit too white for me, but if I'm going out I'll put makeup over it and it's fine. The only thing is that it's not super moisturizing (I don't think it was meant to be), and might be drying for some. That said, it's worth a try!
