I'm white & this is too light for face.
LOVE this product- never greasy but moisturizing enough to stand up to the harsh dry Colorado sun. I have acne prone combination skin and am very active so having a sunscreen I can hike/climb/bike/run in without it melting off AND without causing me breakouts is very hard to find- this is amazing because it's as if I'm wearing protective makeup that I can blindly reapply through the day. My only complaint is the tonal range of this line. 1 COLOR! REALLY GUYS! I'm white and this is way too light for my skin. Also would love more sustainable packaging always.

My Go-To Daily Sunscreen
I developed a Vitamin E allergy a while ago, so I had to toss all of my skincare products out and look for replacements that wouldn't break me out or give me an allergic reaction. I'm so happy that Elta MD has this one in their collection, and that it's mineral based as well! This doesn't make me break out (I break out easily) and it's slightly tinted to ease the whiteness of the white cast from the zinc content. I'm olive skinned so it still looks a bit too white for me, but if I'm going out I'll put makeup over it and it's fine. The only thing is that it's not super moisturizing (I don't think it was meant to be), and might be drying for some. That said, it's worth a try!

This is one of my favorite sunscreens! It has nice tint that just gives a healthy look to your skin. I have combo skin and this leaves my skin feeling balanced, some mineral sunscreens tend to leave my skin feeling a bit dry. This one leaves my skin feeling hydrated but it has a nice light matte finish. It is also a great value, since you get 3 ounces!
