Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 30provides intense hydration while protecting the skin with its oil- and fragrance-free formula. Parsol 1789 provides UVA protection, helping to prevent sun damage such as hyperpigmentation, sagging skin and even skin cancer. Vitamin A fights premature aging while aloe vera extract calms redness.
Adults and children 6 months of age and over, apply evenly 30 minutes before sun exposure. Allow 15 minutes before applying makeup.

Too thick and greasy, packaging needs improvement
I was excited to incorporate this product into my morning routine because of the added ingredients (vitamin E and A, ceramides, etc) and the good level of sun protection it provides. I was hoping it could be my sunscreen and moisturizer all in one! Unfortunately this product is not great. It's not only a very thick consistency, but if you use the recommended amount of sunscreen, it's immediately an oil slick. I have oily skin, so I was prepared for my skin to start looking oily midday, but the oil is real from the get go with this one. It's impossible to apply makeup over top of this for me. Because it's so thick, it's hard to layer foundation on top (even a light layer), without it disturbing the sunscreen. I had a hard time using light layers of power product on top of it as well. The packaging also needs a lot of improvement. The pump broke the 3rd time using it, and I had to cut the bottle open to get the product out! If all you wear is sunscreen and have very dry skin, this could work for you well. For me personally, it's too heavy and oily and the fact that I couldn't get it to work with makeup is a big no for me. I won't be repurchasing.

Fine enough in a pinch
Like Peter Thomas Roth stuff in general, but this kind of just reminds me of every other sunscreen. Not particularly light or great feeling. I mean, I'll grab it before generic gooey oily sunscreen for my face, but the overall felling and effect isn't that much nicer. Feel like PTR can do better. Would also like if it had some natural sunsblocking ingredients opposed to chemical.

Kind of greasy...
I am a big fan of PTR products, so was very excited to try out this sunscreen from them, especially since it claimed to be non-greasy. However, it goes on oily and greasy, though it does go away after it settles out on the skin, but I can't say I am a big fan of the sensory. It is also rather thick, so if you like something thinner, this may not be for you.

way too greasy
I'm really surprised by the positive reviews. I have dry skin and this product is so greasy it makes me look like an oil slick. I got this as a sample within the sun safety sampler but would never buy the full size.

Thick - Not My Favorite
I like the PTR brand so I was excited to give it a try. SPF is part of my daily routine and living in Arizona, I'm always on the hunt for a new favorite. I found the formula of this particular one to be very thick and probably wouldn't use this every day. It will be one that I'll use if I know I'm going to have a long day out in the sun or at the pool and want higher protection. I feel like my skin wouldn't breathe well under it after continued use and would eventually "lash out" at me. That said, it didn't feel overly greasy - just a bit heavy for me personally for daily use, especially being slightly pricey. It does smell like a typical sunscreen but isn't overwhelming.

I hated it!
I hate the way this product feels and smells. It feels like you are putting regular sunscreen on your face. Stings my eyes and extremely grease with a heavy residue. I expected a better product from PTR and for the price. Also caused me to break out every time I used it and I am not prone to acne

Pretty good moisturizer.
I've been using this lotion for a few months now and can say that I really like it. I have dry skin and I like that this lotion is quite emollient and hydrating. My skin has been looking much better since using it.

Good product
I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. Very lightweight and no irritating frangrance. The spf is a bonus! I have pretty dry skin, but I use this in the summer when I don't need intense hydration.
