SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne
- 3.5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Citric Acid: these alpha-hydroxy acids work synergistically to smooth skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

I've always been skeptical of products that claim to eliminate acne since they seldom work but this product really does. I've been breaking out more the usual because of all the mask wearing so I was in dire need of a product that could manage my breakouts without clogging my pores. Like other reviews have mentioned, you have to give it a couple of weeks to see the difference but once you've incorporated it into your daily skincare routine you won't want to change products ever! I followed the recommended application as I have sensitive skin and didn't want to overuse it at first. And for once it didn't dry my skin!!

It totally works
I have been using this product for about 10 months and it has made my skin clear, glowing and silky soft. My skin has been blemish free. It keeps the blemishes at bay. At first, I was still breaking out. It works ok on existing blemishes but it takes awhile for this product to clear the blemish up. If I start to break out I use the blemish age defense and it clears the blemish right up! This product will not disappoint! Totally worth the money. Try it!!

Non drying but not fast acting
I think it probably keeps my blemishes at bay. I use it only on my problem areas and it never ever dries out my skin and my skin is usually quick to dry out. My only complaint is that if I'm breaking out and I put it on at night, when I wake up my pimples aren't gone or even very dried out. It works slower than that. I think it may prevent pimples but is less effective at getting rid of a pimple once it's there.

Effective yet not really harsh
I used this on my hormonal acne and it severely calmed it down. I've tried sooo many "adult" acne products, and this by far gave me the best results over night. I did have some peeling but I was using multiple times a day (the acne went down though). I would say buy with a discount, but I will be buying again. I use right after I cleanse at night vs putting a toner on then adding this serum.
