SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne
- 3.5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Citric Acid: these alpha-hydroxy acids work synergistically to smooth skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

works well - i used the whole set but this is the essential!
this stuff works pretty well. i purchased it for use in the set: the facewash is still going strong with half left, but i have had to re-order the toner and this serum. it works pretty good - well enough for me to continue to purchase it outside of the set. i usually use my vitamin c serum in the am and then this, and then at night i use this then my retinol. it is a little sticky right at first but you have to let it absorb. i think thats the only reason i may be giving in 4 stars instead of 5. if i could give 4.5 i would! (p.s. i have oily, acne prone skin and live in the humidity belt aka the south in the summer...)
