Was it worth the splurge? It's cheaper than a facial that's less than stellar, so I went for it. I kept hearing how great it was, and I appreciated that DS had a 20% discount on your first order. I haven't been using it long enough to see a major difference in sunspots, but I feel like it makes my face brighter during the day, and it looks (I stress looks) smoother. I don't find the smell particularly offensive. It doesn't irritate my skin, just the right texture for layering under sunscreen. I let it sit for a few minutes before I put on sunscreen. My only issue is the applicator. It's less of a dropper and more of a tube... I don't even know how to describe it. But if it's what they have to do to preserve it, I can deal with it. It's runny like any serum, so be careful applying it right above the eyes.

Wonderful vitamin c serum
I always squirm at the price but the ingredients seem to be worth paying the extra amount for. I know the antioxidants alone are extremely beneficial. I use it before tns essential serum and I do place it under and on my eye lids. My eyes are sensitive along with my skin and I have not had any problems.

can dry out your skin and break you out, but it's not as drying as phloretin cf. for darker skin, may be a little harsh, but it does brighten your complexion. just make sure to hydrate the skin immediately afterward

Great addition to my skincare
This is a great product. I actually use it at night and alternate it with my aha/bha exfoliant from Drunk Elephant. I noticed that Vitamin C makes my skin a little sun sensitive (even though it is known to improve the efficacy of your spf) so I switched it to part of my evening routine and couldn't be happier. Definitely evening my skin tone and providing overall brightness to my skin. Also like that it's not too oily. A little goes a long way. I only use about 3 drops onto my palms and then pat it into my face.
