Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

An Everyday/All year long Product
My dermatologist recommended this product in the AM for me. I've got on again/off again melasma and the derma said doing this daily in the morning right after I cleanse will help with the discoloration. It has helped the discoloration for sure (I use a prescription cream at night for the melasma). It's now a staple to my facial routine.

Great for acne scarring
I have been using this product religiously for about 13 weeks (1 whole bottle - 3 drops, 2x a day). No scent, easy applicator, and doesn't irritate my skin. I suffer from hormonal acne on my jawline and lower cheeks. I've really noticed a reduction in the redness and scarring from these. I also have freckles and some melasma after two pregnancies. Haven't really noticed a change in these, but they are older and more stubborn. I will continue to use with fingers crossed.
