Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Hyperpigmentation solution
I have only been using this product 2 weeks, thus, I cannot yet make claims of remarkable results, however, it goes on better than anything else I have tried which is a success in and of itself, and, I have not seen any return of my melasma which was laser removed.

Slightly fading my melasma spots
I've only been using this product now for about 2 weeks so I can't say decisively that it's absolutely working perfectly but I DO believe I'm seeing some slight fading in the melasma spots around my cheeks. The liquid goes on easily, absorbs quickly, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin so I'll absolutely keep using it!

Great ingredients
I purchased this product because I wanted to try Tranexamic Acid for hyperpigmentation I have. I have been alternating this product with a retinol at nights and I like it so far. The texture is great and doesn't leave a sticky residue. I haven't noticed much change in 2 weeks of using it, but I have seen that blemish spots are fading faster than usual. My only concern was that this serum looks darker than the picture. There is a disclaimer about oxidation on the bottle, so I attributed the difference more to photo editing than anything else. The bottle is opaque so I don't think that is much of an issue.

One of my favorite brands!!
I just starting using this product, I'm alternating between it and SkinCeuticals C and E Ferulic acid everyday. I may try to use only this one to see if I can get results sooner. I have several dark spots on my cheeks that I'm looking to lighten. I do like the weight and feel of it. My esthetician calls the SkinCeuticals C and E Ferulic acid a game changer so I'm hoping this product will be as well.

good ingredients, but didn't work for me
I have a stubborn dark spot on my face from a burn where I missed sunscreen. Unfortunately, this serum didn't improve that dark spot, even though it does have great ingredients. I enjoy Skinceuticals products, despite their cost, but will not be repurchasing this serum, as I am looking for something more effective.

Actually works!
I've only been using this product a few weeks and already noticed all around brightening effects. Brown spots and old acne marks are significantly lighter and my skin has more of a lit from within glow to it! I use Them after a daily light peel which I think Really enhances their effectiveness.

Seems to be working
I am using this product in conjuction with another one from the Skinceuticals correct line (advance pigment corrector), and my skin discoloration seems to be fading, although quite slowly. This serum is pricey, but I trust Skinceuticals products, so I prefer to pay extra to get good quality.
