SkinMedica's Scar Recovery Gel with Centelline minimizes the appearance of scarring caused by minor injuries, cosmetic surgery or c-sections. Powered by lactic acid, this scar gel gently brightens and exfoliates to encourage cell renewal while olive oil improves tone and elasticity. Nourishing centella asiatica aids in alleviating wounds while antioxidant-enriched oleuropein fights free radicals.

I bought this product for my daughter who has a surgical scar. She did see a little bit of a change, but Iswitched to a different product which was giving her better results. So we’re now trying this product on a surgical scar for my husband. We just started, using twice a day, so it’s too early to say what the results are. His doctor said he needed a product with silicone. I believe this is not silicone, but their own technology, and it’s very unclear in the ingredients if it’s silicone-based.

Not for facial keloids
I really wanted this to work for me, as I deal with facial keloids on my cheeks and jawline, as a result of previously having cystic acne. This did not work for me at all. In fact, the keloids have gotten bigger, unfortunately. Also, this product mqde my face break out. Dissappointed because I have tried so much, and nothing seems to work.
