These products, especially the face wash and cooling lotion, smell like off-brand skincare from the drugstore or dollar store-smells that are a major part of the reason I try to buy better products, as they are chemically and unpleasant. The face wash dries out my skin, and the cooling lotion doesn't do much to counter it. The night cream and eye pen aren't very good, either, with the eye cream not being spreadable or coming out of the "pen" well at all. Overall, I am very disappointed with this set and won't be buying anything else from the skyn Iceland line.

The face wash is definitely the highlight of this pack. It doesn't have any granules at all so its really easy to use if you just want to wash your face or if you want to use an exfoliating brush. A little goes a LONG way. - I didn't feel super hydrated with the Antidote Cooling Daily Lotion - The eye pen was pointless in my opinion... cool concept but there was no difference and the product was kind of difficult to get out of the pen - oxygen infused night cream wasn't creamy enough for me

A while ago, I tried the Skyn Glacial Face Wash and really liked it. When I saw the kit, I thought it was a perfect way to try the entire line without breaking the bank. It did not disappoint. Glacial Face Wash: It feels cool on my skin and relieves some of the redness. I like how it turns into a creamy foam and rinses without leaving behind any residue. This is my favorite product in the kit, and when I run out of my current moisturizer, this will be one of my first picks for a replacement. Iceland Relief Eye Pen with Glacial Flower Extract: The packaging is clever, and while it is soothing (as advertised), I did not notice much of a difference on the fine lines around my eyes. (Minus half a star.) The Antidote Cooling Daily Lotion: This offering is my second favorite product in the kit. It felt great on my skin, and really does help to hydrate. I always worry with some moisturizers because I have incredibly oily skin, so heavier products just make things worse and leave a goopy mess. I'm happy to say the cooling daily lotion smells wonderful, absorbed quickly, and felt really lightweight on my skin. Oxygen Infusion Night Cream: The night cream is very heavy and left my skin a little red, which seems odd for a kit that is supposed to help stressed skin. (Minus half a star.) I generally have problems with night creams because they are really thick and make my oily skin considerably worse. I am on the hunt for a light weight night cream that moisturizes without exacerbating my oily skin. Alas, this product is not it. I imagine this cream would be much better for someone who has a dry complexion without any issues around sensitive skin. Overall, I think this kit is an excellent deal filled with high-quality products that makes for a fun, affordable way to try the entire Skyn Iceland product line.

Antidote is the best. Eye cream is weak and not much in there. Like the night cream. Indifferent on the cleanser. The antidote moisturizer is great under makeup. Gel and absorbs well.

The product size is samller than I expected. The cooling effect creme alao irritate my skin :(

Skyn is one of those brands I've had my eye on for years and just hadn't gotten around to trying. I finally did when this kit went on sale and was surprised to find myself disappointed in all four products. I enjoyed the actual experience of using the cleanser - it has a really nice cushiony lather - but it left my skin with that tight squeaky feeling after I rinsed it off. The cooling sensation of the day lotion was too intense, and lasted well beyond application. To be clear I do not have sensitive skin and I normally love products that are described as having a cooling effect. The night cream pilled horribly. Both products ended up being relegated to neck and chest use only. The eye cream I don't have a problem with formula-wise, although I haven't used it long enough to judge long term results. It feels nice going on and has never stung my eyes. But the pen applicator is such a headache! There's a significant delay between twisting the dispenser and the product actually coming out of the top - it's frustrating to add that much more time to my routine and I usually open the cap to find extra product was dispensed after I closed it which is now wasted. The applicator tip is fine but I prefer to use my fingers because I feel like I can control the application better that way. Finally, you'd be lucky to get 2 weeks of consistent use out of these product sizes, possibly excepting the eye cream. Definitely not a month like the description claims.

I tried the Dermalogica Ultra Calming set and Pevonia which are both for rosacea, but this is the best set I've tried so far. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because I really did not care for the Eye Cream. I love this set and the cooling feeling. I will be buying the full size products next. Really calms my rosacea.
