EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.
Key Ingredients:
- 9.0% Transparent Zinc Oxide: protects the skin against damaging UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays
- 5% High-Purity Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, discoloration and photo-damage

I’ve been using elta MD UV clear for about two years now and it has been a true game changer in my battle against hyperpigmentation! I get compliments on my skin all the time. I have Very sensitive skin, and this never breaks me out or leaves my skin too oily. I started using the tinted version about a year ago, and I love it! good SPF, color rubs off & doesn't really cover or provide additional protection
It's a good, solid SPF. You'll still need a moisturizer though. Goes on easily, blends well, dries nicely (but sometimes my skin feels tight), not greasy, no bad smell... The tint doesn't show or provide additional coverage or protection and rubs off onto clothes. This one also costs a few extra bucks more than the clear one. From now on, I'll stick to the clear one.

Wanted to love it
I really wanted to love this tinted sunscreen. I don’t like to put on makeup for work so I figured this would be the perfect solution. The tint doesn’t cover any blemishes and I truly think it’s tinted just to make the sunscreen blend in better as opposed to the white one. It also gave me whiteheads on my forehead which never happened with the original white sunscreen.

My dermatologist recommended this brand. I'm very pleased with this sunscreen. I always buy two. I hate running out of of things. I like that it's tinted. But it's not overwhelming for someone of color. I typically dislike the regular spf because it leaves a white cast on my face. I love Elta!

Great for sensitive, acne prone skin
I love this sunscreen, as it's the only one I've tried that doesn't break me out or burn if I sweat. In fact, I think it helps with healing some breakouts. I will say it goes on pretty shiny, but if I let it soak in then gently pat my skin, the shine goes away. The tint surprisingly works well for my super pale skin, as long as I rub it in and get my neck and ears (good practice anyways!). I would recommend trying this at least once.

While I love the consistency of this sunscreen and its effectiveness as a foundation replacement thanks to its tint, my sensitive skin had a slight reaction to it—just a bit of acne. Maybe I didn’t give it enough of a chance when I jumped back into the arms of my Supergoop SPF. I prefer the feel of this product to Supergoop, which applies a little greasy, but I just can’t abide breakouts!

I love this tinted sunscreen. Practically every other type of face sunscreen clogs my pores or breaks me out. This one doesn't. I like the tint because it gives me a little coverage for when I'm with other people at the pool or beach. I get the untinted for my son and it is great for his teenage skin.

Good for a tint and glow
This is great stuff for when I want to wear a little bit of makeup. I love that is already has SPF for a tinted moisturizer its not as dewy which I like. Still have to set with a powder but good for on the go. I have a tried a lot over the years and this one is one I repurchase over and over.

This is by far my favorite tinted SPF. It blends with my skin so perfectly and doesn't make me look shiny it is the perfect combo of matte and shine. I don't feel greasy or dry while wearing it. Make my skin the perfect dewy texture! I normally reapply every two hours to make sure I always have coverage! I've tried a lot of tinted sunscreens and out of all them this is the one I would recommend the most.
