Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Every time I get a pimple, it leaves a red mark behind. This product has helped tremendously to erase the red spots and give me an even complexion. I use a couple of drops at night before moisturizer, and after a few weeks, the spots are noticeably less red if not entirely gone. I highly recommend this product, even for the price. Unfortunately it made me break out
Ive been using it on and off for couple of months, and maybe it does help with discoloration etc. but it made me break out. i tried stopping and giving it break, and even stopped some other products i use to see what causes me to break out, and unfortunately every time i came back to using Discoloration Defence i was breaking out the next day. I tried liking his product. but its too bad, because i love and use CE ferulic and some other SkinCeuticals products too. And now I'm stuck with it...will have to give to a friend or something... lost money for me.
