Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Has changed my complexion!

I love this product its on my autoship. I had tried a ton of different products to get my underarms lighten up from my teenage years of razor burn and using so many products that instead of lighting them up made them worse because they all contained hydroquinone and they burned my skin instead of bleaching it out. I got laser-hair removal last year and i got a skin-lightening treatment at the spa and continue a at home routine to keep them with an even skin tone n light as possible. Best changes i ever made.

Very happy with this product
Have been using for about 6 months. I'm African American with hyperpigmentation. The product does not bleach, just overall lightens my hyperpigmentation, and doesn't exacerbate my acne. I use it with SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic twice daily.

This is a good product!
My dermatologists said this is the best product for discoloration. I get dark spots, freckles on my body after spending too much time in the sun. I like products without sunscreen because most sunscreens clog pores. I have oily skin and I have to use products that match my skin type. This skincare product does not clog pores, will not cause acne. It is very safe for most skin types. I am very happy with my purchase and I will not return this purchase. Best product ever!

No visible results on melasma
I've been using this serum daily, at least once a day and often twice a day on my melasma. I'm sad to say that after 3 months of daily application, I see no results. Right now I'm torn as to whether I should buy another bottle in hopes that this needs more time to work, or if I need to try something new. I've tried so many products but melasma is relentless :( I see from other reviews that this has worked well for many others but for me this just hasn't delivered as I hoped.

Didn't see much results
I was recommended this for post acne spots but did not really see results after a few weeks of usage. I was not sure if it is going to work so I returned the product in the long term. That is why I love Dermstore for making it easy!

Good for acne scars
I use it every morning, after my vitamin c serum- ascorbic acid, and as instructed, followed with spf 50 sunscreen. Doesn't make my skin irritated/ breakout/ caused any tingling. So far i'm impressed with its ability to fade new acne scars. Hopefully it can also works for old marks. One thing though, my spots look redder than usual before finally fading.

Brighter skin: yes Targeted brightening: no, still the same Purging: on & off using the bottle (finished it 2 days ago). The worst was the first month, but it wasn't terrible. I would suggest this for first signs of aging and use after too much sun in the summertime. Good bang for for the buck in the the product (used every other evening) lasted almost 4 months. Not totally sold, so I will continue hunting for the Vitamin C product that works the best for me.
