SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
- 0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

Great for oily skin
This is great for lightening pigmentation on the skin, a little goes a long way. It is the oily skin version of the c e ferulic per the med spa i have gone to. This is great but sadly expensive.

I have had a few friends recommend this product to me, but I was extremely hesitant because of how costly it is! Well, I am a few weeks into using this product and I can't say that I have noticed much change yet. I have also heard that it takes about 3-4 months of consistent daily use in order to see some changes. A little goes a long way! I use 4 drops (forehead, both cheeks, nose/chin). I have noticed some brightness and even tone in my complexion. I will be purchasing another bottle after this one just to stay consistent and to really see if there is a noticeable change!

Perfect for acne prone mature skin
I have been looking for a vitamin c product to use on my skin - which is very oily. I switched from SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic the to Phloretin CF and I'm so happy that I made this change. The CF is much better for oily skin and still gives you the amazing results one would expect from a vitamin c.

low value for the money
I expected a lot more than not making my face look worse than before use. I have experienced some products that actually makes things worse, so I am reasonable about imthe product's value I'm not making things worse. I don't see ANY improvement and the color of the product changes even though I kept the product in a drawer in my bedroom (no direct sunlight or temperature above 75). I think I'll just go back to Vivant.

I decided to try this based on all the glowing reviews and found out for myself that this serum lives up to the hype. It has improved my skin texture, tone, and significantlly lightened my melasma. Of course, I'm also very diligent about sunscreen and wearing hats. I saw results within 2 weeks. I've also tried the Phloretin CF gel. At this point I like them both but I might be leaning a tiny bit toward the gel because I find it easier to apply and I have better control of the product. Anyway, this serum is worth every penny.
