Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
- 0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

I've had issues with hyperpigmentation for some time now and I can notice results already, after only using it every other day for two weeks. I have used the SkinCeuticals CEF, and wanted to try the PCF. I will have to say I see more visible results with PCF within a month of use. My skin is brighter now. CEF for some reason didn't work so well.

Amazing Product
Antioxidants are a must have part of any skin care regimen. This is one of the best I have tried for combination skin. I have noticed a evening of skin tone and discoloration. I find it to be more drying than the CE Ferulic antioxidant, so I alternate them depending on the climate I am in. I will continue to purchase this product, it is worth the cost!

Red and itchy skin
I have used this as directed for about a month now. It seemed fine at first but lately, I've started to experience red patches on my skin and intense itchiness. I thought it could have been something else, like winter and the harsh cold weather, so I discontinued use of the serum for about a week to see. Changing nothing else in my skincare routine and the redness/itch gone after I stopped using the serum, I used the serum again yesterday and the redness and itch returned, more pronounced than before. I guess this product just doesn't work for me personally. It has an odd smell but I could live with it because it does go away. I didn't really notice any improvements in general but one thing that did seem to work is it helped to control the oil for my combination skin. Or maybe it's just that it's winter time and the air is drier and I'm generally just less oily in the winter. Who knows.
