My verdict is still out on this moisturizer... I love the gel consistency. However, I have pretty dry skin and I don’t think this provides enough hydration. I also think that the fragrance is a little too strong for my sensitive skin. Probably won’t be repurchasing because I think there are better products out there for the money. 

This is perfect and extremely light enough to wear under makeup every morning. It does a great job at calming the skin and smells really nice.

I love this lotion. It has a delicate, very pleasing smell when first applied, which dissipates fairly quickly (I see this as a plus). The lotion itself is very light but moisturizes really well, and a little goes a long way. I have been able to simplify my moisturizing routine since I started using it. I also appreciate that the jar comes with a little spatula. 

Although this is an overall nice moisture mask, it does not hydrate & plump the skin the way I was hoping. I use this product in conjunction with others to help boost the hydration & moisture of my super dry skin. Good product and worth a try to see if it can help restore skin moisture.

I am a recent Avene convert and now use a while line of almost exclusively Avene products. When I moved to Washington DC a few months ago, my skin went haywire in reaction to the water. Once I switched to using only distilled water while cleansing my face, and incorporating this soothing moisturizer along with a couple of other gentle products, my skin has gone back to normal and looks amazingly hydrated and calm. 

This product's gel-like texture and cooling effect feels great but had regular pilling issues, even with changing other products that I paired with it. Also, the fragrance is quite strong. Had high hopes for this to be my new daytime moisturizer based on other reviews, but alas I've found that the First Aid Beauty Intense Repair does a better job at absorbing and not pilling (even with my combo skin)

I am a ride or die Avene customer because I know their products won't irritate my sensitive, reactive skin. I would love this product more if Avene made a few adjustments. Pros - Provides good hydration for the Midwest summers, but I switch to Avene's Tolerane Extreme for additional moisture in the winter months. - Doesn't irritate my skin. - Soothly gel-like texture. - Seems to play well with other products- serums, makeup, and sunscreen. Cons - Fragrance - Comes in a tub I think this would be a great year-round moisturizer if you have combination skin, but for dry skin you'll need something richer for the winter months in the Midwest.

This gel is just thick enough to go easily on your skin but melts in within seconds.  I love it on my face and wish they made a body cream like it!!

I got this in a sample bag and it feels really hydrating. I usually don't like gel moisturizer but this one is really good
